The cultural institution Prestefoss Mill is starting to become quite well known in the world of music, both here in Norway and abroad, thanks to Mølla Lydstudio (The sound studio at the mill) owned by Knut Magne Valle. The Mill houses a large-scale studio, a soundproof practice room, and accommodation for long-distance travellers. The place is also open for all youths that want to engage in music.

Knut Magne Valle has a lot of experience when it comes to recording and producing music in a studio, and there are numerous of successfull releases that has his name on them. The most famous releases is the two last Arcturus albums and several records with Ulver. The have all been recorded on the equipment that he uses in Mølla Studio today. In the beginning of 2005 Arcturus entered Mølla Studio to record their last album!
